St.Edward’s Fellwalkers

As part of the information provided about walks, the routes of the various walks are shown on a map as seen to the right. The information needed to produce this is generated by a process that takes the gpx routes of the individual walks and figures out where the those routes coincide.

This documents how that process works and covers the nuances involved. The intention is to aid anybody needing to make changes in the future.
